T_M1/TV: Advanced Statistical Physics (Statistical Physics II) – Exercises

NOTE: Hand-in of problem sets will take place via Nextcloud (links distributed via email).

Students should upload their solutions to Problem Set X by the specified deadline as a (compressed!) .pdf file with the following filename: PSet_X_FirstName_LastName.pdf

Exercise classes:

The exercises consist of two parts: (i) the central exercise and (ii) the exercise groups (aka tutorials).

In the central exercise the solutions to most of the weekly exercises will be discussed. It usually takes place on Tuesday 16-18 c.t. in Theresienstr. 37, A348 (see Overview).

In the exercise groups the solution to one problem will be presented by a student and discussed in detail. In addition, hints and additional information for the next problem sheet will be provided. 

There are five (5) exercise groups:

Group I: Wed 8-10 c.t. (Theresienstr. 37, A249) (F. Pauw),

Group II: Wed 12-14 c.t. (Theresienstr. 37, A249) (F. Pauw),

Group III: Thu 8-10 c.t. (Theresienstr. 39, B101) (M. Moradi),

Group IV: Thu 12-14 c.t. (Theresienstr. 37, A348) (P. Kopold),

Group V: Fri 8-10 c.t. (Theresienstr. 37, A450) (H. Riahi) [*]

NOTE: Registration for the exercises is mandatory. The registration via LSF (Übungen zu T_M1/TV: Advanced Statistical Physics) is open until Thursday Apr 18.

[*] Tutorial Group V will take place in a hybrid in-person & online format (via Zoom). A link to the Zoom room will be distributed to students registered for this tutorial by the registration deadline.
