Retake exam:

  • UPDATE: The grading scale in the retake exam is identical as in the main exam (see below).
  • UPDATE: The review (Klausureinsicht) will take place online via zoom on Thursday Oct. 14, from 12:00 - 14:00. To participate, you must register first by sending a short email with your name and matrikelnr. to fabian.grusdtATphysik.uni-muenchen.de until Tuesday Oct. 12. Registered participants will receive a pdf to review to the email addressed used for registration for the exam (check that email account!).
  • The encrypted exam pdf file will be published here for download on the morning of Sep. 16; The password will be published in the exam zoom session; If you have trouble accessing zoom, please call: +49 (0)89/2180-4106.
  • All registered participants should now have received an email with detailed instructions for the exam. If you have registered before, and note gotten an email yet, please send an email to Fabian.GrusdtATphysik.uni-muenchen.de
  • The exam will take place on Thursday Sep 16, 2021 from 08:00 until 11:00. It will be an online exam (open book). Additionally, 30 minutes (from 11:00 - 11:30) will be reserved for handing in the solutions.
  • To guarntee you won't face technical problems, we recommend updating zoom to the latest version.

  • Participation requires the following:
  1. You must have registered.
  2.  Unless otherwise agreed upon, you may only participate if you are a registered student for the lecture and have not passed module TM_1 before.
  3.  Your exam is only valid if accompanied by a signed declaration confirming that you solved the problems on your own, did not make use of any unauthorized help and did not help anyone else. Please download the form here in advance!
  • Only the following material may be used during the online exam: Collections of mathematical furmulas, electronic calculator, books and scripts of any kind.
  •  In the exam you may only hand in hand-written solutions, use of tablets is allowed.
  • The exam is open book, so you may use "the internet". But we advise against aimless searches. 
  • The use of computer algebra software is not permitted and would not give anyone an advantage.

Main exam:

  • The review (Klausureinsicht) will take place online via zoom on Thursday Sep. 09, from 12:00 - 14:00. To participate, you must register first by sending a short email with your name and matrikelnr. to fabian.grusdtATphysik.uni-muenchen.de until Monday Sep. 06. Registered participants will receive a pdf to review to the email addressed used for registration for the exam (check that email account!).
  • The results of the main exam have been sent out by email - all registered participants should have received their results.
  • The grading scale in the main exam is as follows:
> 69 Points 1,0
> 65 Points 1,3
> 60 Points 1,7
> 56 Points 2,0
> 52 Points 2,3
> 46 Points 2,7
> 42 Points 3,0
> 38 Points 3,3
> 33 Points 3,7
> 29 Points 4,0
29 Points and below not passed (NB)

  • The exam will take place on Tuesday July 20, 2021 from 08:00 until 11:00. It will be an online exam (open book). Additionally, 30 minutes (from 11:00 - 11:30) will be reserved for handing in the solutions.

    1) You must sign up via LSF until 11:59 pm on July 11. If you cannot find the exam on LSF, follow this link.

    2) Unless otherwise agreed upon, you may only participate if you are a registered student for the lecture and have not passed module TM_1 before.
