Vorlesung und Seminar: Soft Matter Physics – Übersicht

The 3+1 hours lecture course plus exercise class and seminar.
accounts for 6 ECTS (3+3) credit points.

The course covers the physics of soft condensed matter, colloids, polymers, liquid crystals and active matter, with focus on examples from biological physics. Students should be part of the physics masters programm. Basic knowledge in undergraduate physics, in particular statistical physics is required.
