Seminar: Current Topics in Nanophotonics – Overview
- Overview
- Schedule
Nanophotonics concerns the study and manipulation of electromagnetic radiation at nanometric spatial scales, in a size regime much smaller than achievable with conventional optical elements such as microscope objectives. Beating the diffraction limit by orders of magnitude holds great promise for sharper images, miniaturization and operational bandwidth of optoelectonic elements, more accurate sensing methods, among other applications. The seminars will cover some of the most recent theoretical and experimental aspects in the broad research field of light-matter interaction at subdiffraction scales.
Interested students should contact the organizer for sign-up.
