Introduction to Nanophotonics – Exercise sheets and poster topics

Exercise sheets
30% of your grade is made up of the grades from your exercise sheets. During the course of the semester, we will hand out three exercise sheets that will usually be uploaded on Thursdays after the tutorial. The hand-in is due on the Thursday one week after the hand-out and will be graded and returned one week after hand-in. The submission of the exercises should be addressed to the corresponding person given on each exercise sheet separately.

For this course, the third exercise sheet will be handed out on 9^th July and will be due on the 15^th July at 10 pm. Please submit all your solutions merged together in a single PDF file labeled with at least your last name.

Poster presentation
The remaining 70% of the grade will be made up of the electronic poster presentation. For the topic list, general information on the poster presentation as well as adminstrative guidelines and advices how to prepare a scientific poster, you can check the uploaded PDF which was also discussed in the first tutorial.
For the design of your poster, we recommend either PowerPoint or CorelDraw but other programs, such as InkScape or Adobe Illustrator are also fine.
